Boréa was honored at the 47th edition of the Most Beautiful Gardens of Quebec gala, organized by the Association of Professional Landscapers of Quebec (APPQ).

Illuminating the forest landscape
At the heart of a wooded setting, Boréa offers a subtle and immersive lighting design that enhances the forest landscape. The site’s steep terrain presented a real challenge for our team, requiring careful marking of steps and pathways without disturbing the natural tranquility of the surroundings. The lighting system brings the forest to life at night, revealing the site’s depth and the mystical character of the towering conifers surrounding the residence.
Material selection
Our design team aimed to create a landscape using exclusively natural materials: natural stone, gravel, crushed stone, slate steps and slabs, and more.
Plant selection
The plant palette, including Athyrium felix-femina, Microbiota decussata, and Sedum spectabile, was chosen for its ability to thrive in a forested environment and subtly capture light. Foliage and textures become living surfaces, gently revealed as dusk falls.
